IMPORTANT UPDATE 7/21/16 : YSTA Festival Postponed unitl after presidential election.
To all my many friends across the region and beyond. It is with great sadness that I must announce the postponement of the YSTA Festival.
This event was an unbelievable opportunity for many parties. It was and opportunity for many great non-profit orginization's to get more exposure and cross marketing input from each other, and other for-profit marketers. It was equally an event designed to motivate our youth, combat several social issues, and help heal a wounded region.
For this event to work and be profitable, there must be highly motivated partners on all levels. Unfortunately several partner where not attempting minimal levels of involvement which severely altered the overall strategy, limit anticipate media exposure, audiance, and reduced some regional marketing efforts.
Additionally the overall tension in our commuinty was equally an unexpected situation which had not been considered during the planning stages of this event. Although we had an excellent security strategies in place, recent national incidents must now be considered during the initial security planning stage. As a parent and father of four outstanding young men, I completely understand that there's too much tension within our community to continue with this loving unity event. The better fogs of division have truly set in on the land of the free. Although I had all the funding, sponsorships, and speed regional marketing strategy, from productive partnerships in place to pull off such an ambitious event. I never anticipate the county I love to be so deeply divided.
As I visited many outstanding members of the community I could feel the tension. I see all these loving citizens fearful of each other, fearful of people they've known their entire lives. I see so many young people angry, confused, and seeking directly from our leaders. I see most of our so call leaders fueling the better flames of division, instead of embracing unity and promoting productivity and equality. I see the greatest country on earth turning in to a 3rd world **#$%€* right before my eyes.
I highly value every member in this community and beyond. Although I will lose all of my initial personal investments in this project, all other investors have been returned their investments with an additional 5% inconvenience fee added ( Thanks for believing in me guys, great friends will always have your back). Nevertheless 1 life is worth more to me, than all the money in the world. As a responsible citizen and future leaders of our region, there is no way I could risk one life begins endanger because of my ambitious event.
I will reschedule my event and all of my contests in the fall and/or winter seasons after the election. When most national tensions should have settled down. The exact dates and times are still TBD.
For all who are still interested in registerition, please send an email through wedotec.net contact section, with the contest you wanted to participate in.
There may still be several smaller contests instead of one large event. All new contest will be placed in highly controlled settings, to combat any unforseen security concerns.
Again, I'm sorry this action had to be taken, but if I truly see myself as a responsible loving citizens, there is absolutely no way I could put any citizen in harms way, during such a divided period in our nation's history.
I truely love all you guys, every man, woman child, plant, an animal in our beautiful world (reguardless of race, color, gender, ethnicity, and/or OCCUPATION). I wish I knew of a ways to help unite our country and my region, but most voices for unity like myself are silenced and completely ignored by most media outlets. One day our time will come and we will be given the opportunity of showing all citizens that there is another way.
UNITED WE STAND!
Through love peace freedom and justice, our great nation can overcome any obstacle. We must learn to stand together as one. We will not stand for any hate, intolerance, bigotry, division, and/or IDIOCY.

NEW PARTNERS UPDATE: We are honored to announce our new Sickel Cell Anemia charity partner -The Sickel Cell Disease Association of America. This great organization will receive the Sickel Cell Anemia funding from this campaign. Thanks again guys for you countless hours of hard work.
NEW VENUE UPDATE: To accommodate such high interest in our regional Robotics competition. We are changing the venue to the USF Sundome arena. We are equally delaying enrollment in the Robotics Competition to give our independent engineers more design time and to additionally include more high school teams in the competition. Because of these changes the Robotics Competition will be move to a larger indoor arena.

Hello my name is John Taylor, founder of WEDO TECHNOLOGY. This is an open invitation to all youths and youth organizations in the central Florida region and beyond, for a Youth Science, Technology & the Arts Festival Hosted by WEDO TECHNOLOGY. This festival will have mulitple youth team and/or individual events. We are additionally hosting four quarterfinal events to determine the Festival event finalists. All contest will be open to the public.
All youth organizations will have a 48hrs advance admission & registerition options before the general public. Youth organizations will be able to apply for 50% of the quarterfinal team event openings. (1000 total quarterfinal team openings available) All openings are on a first come first serve basis. These competitions are designed to inspire creative minds throughout our beautiful region and beyond. (More details below in Youth Center Challange.)

Event Charities and Community Enrichment Programs:
1. 50% of Festivals non security staff will be developmentally disabled citizens.(To highlight the true value of these highly productive citizens). ** $15per hr
2. 50% of non security staff will be minors 13-17 from local youth organizations. (To reward positive hard working youths) **15per hr
3. 20% of all profit going directly to 4 outstanding community cause:
Charitable Causes:
1)5% Orlando Victims Fund ..(all victims and/or their families will receive an equal portions of funds raise directly on Thanksgiving Eve )
2) 5% The Sickel Cell disease Association of America
3) 5% The Springs of Tampa Bay (Domestic Violence centers)
4) 5% The V Foundation (Children Cancer Research)
4. Youth Center Challenge:
All qualifying youth organization teams are competing for an additional $1500 cash prize for their sponsored youth organization. Each youth organization is allowed one team in each of the 3 quaterfinal contest during the 48hr advance enrollment period.
All of the remaining positions and other contests, will be opened to the general public after the initial 48hr enrollment period. All youth organizations are allowed to have multiple teams in any contest, if openings are available. Some quarterfinal contests may be expanded if advance registerition & enrollment projections exceeds expectations. More details will become available after early enrollment period.

Our overall mission:
This festival is here to inspire a wounded region. Its designed to show the next generation how to overcome intolerance through understanding, creativity and unity. We as a region must show our youth how United We Stand, and together we will not stand for any intolerance, hate, or idiocy. We must show our youth a future of opportunity, creativity, innovation, and love.
These competition are designed to promote science, engineering, technology, creativity, community awareness and most notably civility and unity.
This festival is designed to display the full beauty of the central Florida region and display how our region can positively support each other through unity.
These competitions are designed to keep many of our bright young minds focused on innovation, creativity, productivity, and team work this summer.
Now is the time to inspire our region and beyond!
This festival is additionally one of the 1st ever crowd funding Festivals ever. All the data and additional revenue generated from these events will go directly towards WEDO TECHNOLOGY' projects and other adminstration funding.
